Skin brightening with Rice Powder

Rice powder or flour is a widely known ingredient to treat blemishes, wrinkles and pigmentation. In fact, this ingredient has been used as an anti-aging skin treatment in many Asian countries for centuries. 

High concentration of PABA (para amino benzoic acid) is present in rice, make our skin photosensitive.  It will protect  protect our skin against the harmful UV rays. which acts as a very good sunscreen. Ferulic acid and allantoin present in rice are also sun protecting agents. The ferulic acid is an antioxidant and allantoin is a good anti-inflammatory agent. It helps in repairing the skin and calming down the sunburn too. On topical application, rice powder inhibits tyrosinase which is good for the skin. Besides offering UV protection, rice powder has exfoliating properties and that can help to keep the skin looking brighter. Other than that, rice powder has a chemical structure similar to ceramide, and ceramide increases collagen production to make skin more supple.



Yogurt will reduce scars, brighten the skin, reduce pore size, reduce acne. You can also  mix the rice flour with milk, honey, green tea It’s really your choice of ingredients. Apply on your face and neck and rinse off after 10 minutes.

After washing your face at night apply this rice mask daily followed by toner, moisturizer and night cream.

If you followed this regime daily for 1 month you will notice the difference of your skin tone, you will get clear translucent skin. This rice pack suited for all skin type around the year.
